There a lot of valuable stuff hidden underneath your pride and joy. Whether it’s the fuel tank or the gearbox, if something gets ruptured from the underside then you could be in for a very expensive fix.
If you want to project your 4×4’s underbody there a few options out there that will do this for you, and we can help with the majority of them *depending on your vehicle and part availability. Depending on how vigorous you are with your off-roading, you might need underbody protection. If you only leave the road every once in a while then it might be overkill but if you are a keen greenlaner then it’s a no-brainer. This is particularly true of more modern 4×4 vehicles that might have added low-hanging electronics to potentially damage.
The type of protection available ranges from a Dinitrol wax treatment to a choice of sump guards, skid plates, differential covers and rock sliders/protection steps. These are usually built from steel in 4mm or 6mm options.
